πŸ”οΈ Made by hand in Boise, Idaho

Toss a little wild into the world.

Sweet little clay seed balls, packed with wildflowers that actually belong out West. Toss one on a bare, sad patch of ground β€” sun and rain do the rest, and something pretty grows there instead.

Our Story

We just want more pretty spots in the West.

It started with a simple idea: bare dirt, gravel patches, sad roadside strips β€” they don't have to stay that way. A little seed, wrapped in clay so it actually survives, tossed somewhere that could use it. That's it. That's the whole plan.

Native wildflowers, picked for your patch of the West, planted the easy way β€” by throwing them.

🌻

Only native, always

Every mix is picked for wildflowers that actually grow wild out here β€” nothing that crowds out the plants that were here first.

Small batch, real hands

Rolled by hand in Boise, a few thousand at a time. Not a factory β€” just us, some clay, and a lot of seeds.

The Seed Balls

What's actually inside.

About 72 seeds tucked into each little clay ball, along with a bit of compost to help things along. We only use wildflowers native to the Intermountain West β€” the ones bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds already know and love. Every bag lists exactly what's inside.

πŸ‚ Fall Throw Β· Sep–Nov

Toss it, then let winter do its thing

Snow and cold are actually part of the plan for these β€” that's how a lot of western wildflowers wake up strong in spring. Toss now, forget about it, and let the season handle the rest.

🌷 Spring Throw Β· Mar–May

Quick color for the season of doing things outside

A cheerful mix built for color in the first year β€” perfect timing for Earth Day, spring cleanups, and wedding season.

Nice Spaces

Every bare patch of dirt out West deserves a chance.

Roadside strips, trailheads, gravel corners, that weedy patch behind the garage β€” a little wild goes a long way toward making a space feel cared for again.

πŸ₯Ύ

Trail days & cleanups

Toss a handful anywhere your group is already out clearing trash and clearing weeds β€” leave it a little wilder and prettier than you found it.

Your own backyard

🐝

Bees, butterflies, birds

Native wildflowers mean native pollinators actually show up. It's a small patch of habitat, one toss at a time.

🀝One easy rule: only toss on ground that's yours, or that you've got the okay to plant on. Everything grows better with permission.

Our first Fall Throw ships in September 🍁

Hop on the list and we'll let you know the second it's ready β€” plus where to find us at Boise markets this fall.

We'll only email twice a year, once per season. Promise. 🀞
